Responsible for the development of strategic business plans for the Central Laboratory. Formulates and implements policies, set up control systems and processes to ensure that divisional targets are achieved.  Develops new services and value-added activities to ensure the long-term business success and sustainability of the group. Ensures that the Laboratory  operations comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, ISO/IEC 17025 and other industry-related requirements and standards.

Concurrent Safety Chairman for the Laboratory and Management Representative for the Laboratory’s ISO 17025 accreditation.

ROGER S. VILLANUEVA

  • Business Development in strategic approach (short & long-term goals);    
  • Representing SGS SSC Philippines, Inc.
  • New product development align with Philippine set-up & culture & in compliance with SGS guidelines;

  • Guidelines and Formulation and internalization of continual improvement with streamlining methodologies to further enhance SSC business as a whole.

Main Functions:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of the division through continuous promotion of services and the establishment of proper control measures. Responsible for the strategic planning of divisional goals and objectives and of ensuring the attainment of goals and performance standards of his/her division. Also responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures, quality management system in his/her division.

Main Functions:
Responsible for preparation of the company’s strategic information plan, consisting of application systems, infrastructure and human resources.  This includes preparing and monitoring annual budgets for IT capital and indirect expenses, ensuring systems availability in a 24x7 environment, providing general direction in the planning and implementation of technology setup and systems development projects which includes project monitoring and review.
